Legnano

 

Legnano (60,500 people) is located about 20 kilometers north-west of Milan and is crossed by the Olona river .

Every year the citizens of Legnano remember the historic Battle of Legnano (1176) with the Palio delle Contrade , which normally takes place on the last Sunday of May.
